A study by VegasBetting.com found that the US sports betting market is leading the way when it involves accepting bitcoin as a payment method. The study checked out the highest 10 sportsbooks Globally, within the US and in Canada. All US sportsbooks welcome Bitcoin deposits with open arms.
Exactly 50% of the Canadian sportsbooks within the study have started accepting crypto currency payments.
Internationally the image is that the opposite: none of the highest 5 global sportsbooks have integrated Bitcoin to their payment systems.
In the United States, normal economic processes are beginning to affect Bitcoin gambling, and because the competition grows, the buyer will start to feel the advantages in terms of increased bonuses and other sorts of promotions.
(Forty percent) 40% of the sportsbooks within the study offer a better bonus for Bitcoin deposit compared with bonuses for mastercard deposits.
In Canada, competition isn’t so fierce yet, and just one operator has started offering higher bonuses for Bitcoin deposits.
Also, the study discovered that Bitcoin deposits at sportsbooks are cheaper than mastercard deposits. None of the operators within the study charge a fee for Bitcoin deposits, but a number of them do charge for mastercard deposits.
